Microbiome therapeutics company GI Biome has revealed its plan to submit an IND application for its core pipeline within this year. The company also expressed its ambition to leap into a comprehensive healthcare enterprise by actively promoting its probiotics products. 

At an Investor Relations (IR) briefing for Series B investment held at the company's headquarters on the 13th, Kim Young-Seok, the CEO of GI Biome, commented, "In September, we plan to apply for IND of 'GB-X01', our microbiome-based anticancer candidate," and added, "And in July, we will launch the sale of four probiotics product lines."
